He is open minded enough to advocate that<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>doing science does not necessarily require a PhD and a desk in a University office, and that ideas and theories are not crackproof or crackpotty, but just <a href=\"http:\/\/dorigo.wordpress.com\/2007\/10\/18\/guest-post-rick-ryals-diracs-holes-and-einsteins-constant\/\">right or wrong<\/a> .<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>(In this connection, he had also published in his blog a great story titled <a href=\"http:\/\/dorigo.wordpress.com\/2006\/12\/25\/to-all-my-crackpot-friends\/\">Cracked Pots<\/a> which is well worth reading.)<\/p>\n<p>So Tommaso started a series of <a href=\"http:\/\/dorigo.wordpress.com\/guest-posts\/\">guest posts<\/a> at his blog, some from mainstream scientists, some from &#8220;alternative theorists&#8221; with high academic credentials, and some from &#8220;alternative theorists&#8221; with no academic credentials, aka &#8220;crackpots&#8221; (I belong to the third group). He graciously accepted my submission, entitled <a href=\"http:\/\/dorigo.wordpress.com\/2007\/11\/16\/guest-post-george-barouxis-extrinsic-relativity\/\"><strong>Extrinsic Relativity<\/strong><\/a>, which he posted on November 16, and you can see it in the link above.
